C & C 30th Anniversary Cocktail Party

C&C 30th Anniversary Cocktail Party has successfully held on June 18, 2010 with the presence of over 600 hundred guests. The company was honoured to have Mr. Henry Tang Ying-yen, Chief Secretary for Administration, Hong Kong S.A.R. and Mr. Tian Bai Chun, Deputy Director General of Publicity, Culture and Sports Department of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R. as the honourees.

A special stamping ceremony was prepared to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of C&C. The guests of honour affixed the seals with their names to the Chinese calligraphy of “Creativity and Innovation for Sustainable Development”.

C&C also has taken initiatives to care for the society and care for the community, aiming at a concerted growth with the society. C&C has established a special “Hope Fund” in 2006 for assisting the development of education in developing areas in mainland China. In 2009, C&C launched a school building project in North Guangdong. The C&C Building in Long Mu Central Primary School was official opened in June 11, 2010 and the Key Hand-over Ceremony was witnessed by our guests of honour during the cocktail party.

Another highlight of the cocktail party was the book launch of The Story of Printing: The History and Heritage of C&C. The book reveals a brief history of printing in China, especially the printing story of the two C’s in the past century and the evolution of C&C in the past 30 years. C&C will donate the income from the copyright royalty of the book to the company’s Hope Fund, in order to finance further corporate social responsibility projects.

The cocktail party held alongside an exhibition of C&C’s development, products and printing technologies including the Augmented Reality (AR) and Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) demonstrations.
