C&C Promotes Creativity to the World

C & C Joint Printing (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “C&C”) actively participated in the large international exhibitions both in China and abroad recently with the project organized by Hong Kong publishing and printing industries. In the “Hong Kong Pavilion”, C&C displayed the excellent products and was honoured to share the views of Hong Kong and the Asian printing industry, promoting the creativity and achievements of Hong Kong printing industry to the world. 

The opening ceremony of “Hong Kong Pavilion” in the 9th Beijing International Book Fair was hold in the China International Exhibition Center (New Venue), Beijing on August 29, 2012. The officiating guests included Mr. YAN Xiaohong, Deputy Director of Press and Publication and Deputy Director of State Copyright Bureau, and other government chiefs. The officiating guests were performed the opening & lighting ceremony with Mr. YEUNG Kam Kai, Organizer Representative & Chairman of Hong Kong Printers Association, and Ms NG Ching-yee, Convenor of the “Hong Kong Pavilion” at the 9th Beijing International Book Fair. Mr. WEN Hong Wu, Chairman of Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited, and Mr. Jackson LEUNG, CEO of C&C were invited to attend the ceremony. 

The Hong Kong Pavilion at 2012 Frankfurt Book Fair held a sharing session on 10 Oct. 2012, inviting outstanding speakers to share their views on the prospect of the publishing and printing industry in Hong Kong and Asia. Ms. Wong Kit Yi, Assistant General Manager of C & C Offset Printing Company Limited, shared her views on printing value by Hong Kong. Other speakers included Dr. Steven LUK, Director, General Manager & Chief Editor of The Commercial Press (Hong Kong) Ltd.; Mr. Peter LAU, Managing Director of Asia One Product & Publishing Ltd.; and Ms. Gigi LAM, Marketing Officer (Publishing Department) of Joint Publishing (Hong Kong) Company Ltd. 

“Soaring Creativity – Hong Kong Publisher’s and Printers’ Participation in Three International Exhibitions” is organized by the Hong Kong Publishing Federation and the Hong Kong Printers Association, under the sponsorship of Create Hong Kong of the Government of Hong Kong S.A.R. It showcases the creativity and accomplishments of the Hong Kong’s printing and publishing industries to the world at three major international exhibition, namely, Beijing International Book Fair (29 Aug – 2 Sep. 2012), Frankfurt Book Fair (10 – 14 Oct. 2012) and Taipei International Book Exhibition (30 Jan. 2012 – 4 Feb. 2013).
