C&C Got Recognised on Promoting Qualifications Framework
Qualifications Framework Partnerships Commendation Ceremony was successfully held by the Hong Kong Education Bureau in Government Headquarter on 6 December 2012. Over 100 organizations received certificates of commendation for their support and contributions to Qualifications Framework (QF). Among them, C&C was commended for its commitment to promoting “Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism” and “Application of QF in human resources development”.
Regarding the promotion of RPL, the commended organizations have actively encouraged and supported their employees to apply RPL qualifications for recognition of their rich experience, knowledge and skills in the workplace under the QF so as to keep themselves continuous learning and move along the ladder of progression pathways.

In respect of the application of the QF in human resources development, the commended organizations have actively utilized Specification of Competency Standards to design progression pathways for their respective industries, so as to help practitioners identify their study needs and make future development plans. Some of the awardees have taken the initiative to accept QF recognized qualifications for recruitment criteria and some have even prioritized the applicants with such qualifications.

The QF is a seven-level hierarchy covering qualifications in the academic, vocational and continuing education. It aims to provide a transparent and easily accessible platform to promote lifelong learning and enhance the capability and competitiveness of the local workforce in Hong Kong.
